Drinking Water Solutions
Water is called the universal solvent, water has the tendency to dissolve a little of everything it comes in contact with, from beneficial elements to harmful. Some of these impurities occur naturally in water while others enter water supply through complications with aging municipal water treatment networks, ground water wells, or internal home plumbing systems.
Drinking water should be odorless and taste good. Impurities such as chlorine, lead and copper as well as sediments like sand and dirt can alter the taste and color of your water. These contaminants can affect drastically the quality of your water and therefore the quality of your cooking. However, different solutions exist in order to have a healthier drinking water. We offer a wide range of drinking water solutions depending on your water quality.
Clearsource drinking water solutions will provide you with pure and healthy water. Depending on you region and location, your water quality varies.
Clearsource can test your water for free and find the right water treatment system for you and your home that will improve the quality of your drinking water.
Reverse Osmosis Systems
Clearsource Reverse Osmosis Systems are the best solution to treat contaminants and to eliminate chlorine taste. We use an under sink reverse osmosis system to filter the water coming through the local potable water plant. The RO filter is installed under the sink.
RO Solutions are the most effective and cost efficient water treatment systems available today.
Clearsource RO systems are made of 3 filters: a prefilter which collects solid impurities, a carbon filter which eliminates chlorine and the postfilter (the osmosis membrane). It also comes with a small tank in which the purified water is stored.

Carbon Filtration Systems
If your main concern is bad smell and bad tasting water than carbon filtration is the solution to your problem. Carbon filtration removes the chlorine, the bad taste and the micro particles available in your water. The chlorine is absorbed and the impurities available are dissolved.
Carbon filtration solution can be installed under the sink- directly linked to a faucet – or at the entrance of your building water tank and therefore allowing you to have whole house clean water.
It is best used with a chlorine filtration system in order to remove the remaining particles.
Sediment Filtration Systems
Sediment filtration will remove the sand, organic material or iron available in the water. These materials can be the cause of cloudiness in the water. Bacterias and impurities dissolved in your drinking water are the key elements to the metallic taste and the bad odor.
Sediment filtration is a pre-treatment used with another method of filtration to remove the micro bacteria dissolved in your water.
If you wish to have a pure, taste free and crystal clear water, Clearsource recommends a bacteriology test in our laboratory in order to understand which equipment provides you the best solution. Ask for a bacteriology test
